SoCal guard commits to Cowboys

Joe Hudson must have liked what he saw on Saturday night. After traveling from sunny San Diego to Laramie Hudson witnessed a tenacious Wyoming Cowboys team that came back from 14 down to take defeat the San Diego State Aztecs.

According to the North County Times Hudson verbally commited to the Pokes just two days later. Hudson is the Pokes first recruit to commit for the 2010 season. He brings the ability to hit from long range or slash to the basket.

Here is a solid Q&A he did with the North County Times.

ESPN recruiting ranks him as a 74 grade.

Casper Tribune
Hudson, a 6-foot-1 guard from Escondido High School, averaged more than 21 points and hit 85 3-pointers as a junior and entered the 2010 calendar year averaging nearly 25 points per game as a senior, according to a Dec. 31 story in the San Diego Union-Tribune.
