Akron Zips at Wyoming Cowboys

The Zips of Akron travel to Laramie for a mens basketball game that starts at 7pm. Akron made it to the NCAA tournament last year and have started this season with a 9-3 start. The Zips are winners of five in a row and feature four starters from last years squad.
Wyoming will be looking for it's 300th win in Arena Auditorium tomorrow night. The Pokes are 299-100 at the AA since 1982. Currently sitting at 6-6 the Cowboys need a quality win to help themselves before the start of the conference schedule.
Akron doesn't boast one true "star" but nearly anyone on the roster can step up any night of the week. Seven players are averaging over seven points a game this year lead by Brett McKnight's 9.8ppg. Brett's older brother Chris is also on the roster and averages over seven points a game.
Akron checks in with an RPI of 194, they have yet to beat a team with an RPI of less than 100.
Unfortunately Zippy the Kangaroo will not be making the trip with the rest of the team - that would be entertaining.
