Offensive game plan:

The Utes come at their opponents with a fairly balanced attack that tilts slightly towards the run. Terrence Cain is a dual threat QB has done a great job in his first season in Utah after playing at JC earlier. The Utes lead the Mountain West with a 4.8 yards per rush average. Eddie Wide is a quick and agile runner who starts now that Matt Asiata is out for the season. David Reed is their one threat at wide out, so far this season he has 45 catches for 695 yards.

Defensive game plan:

Utah has the third ranked defense in the Mountain West. They have given up the least amount of passing yards in the conference but have shown they are vulnerable to the run. The ability of Austyn Carta-Samuels to run or throw could give the Utes some trouble.
