TCU hit the big shots down the stretch and grabbed a 76-68 victory on the road over Wyoming. This is the fifth loss in a row for the Cowboys (9-16, 2-9) who are running out of excuses this season. The Horned Frogs (12-14, 4-7) have a chance to move up in the conference standings as they try and catch up with Utah for sixth place in the Mountain West.

Freshman Nikola Cerina had the best game of his career and second strong performance in a row. The 21 point and seven rebound effort led the Horned Frogs and was vital when bigman Zvonko Buljan fouled out in just 14 minutes. Ronnie Moss was five for nine from the field for 15 points. As a team the Horned Frogs hit 50% of their shots and also connected eight three pointers on seventeen attempts.

Desmar Jackson led all scorers with 22 while tying his career high. Amath M'Baye had 14 points off the bench. Djibril Thiam and Arthur Bouedo both scored 10 points. The Pokes were aggressive and went to the free throw line 35 times connecting on 27 shots a 77% average. Adam Waddell sat out most of the second half due to lingering ankle and knee pain, he finished with six points and two rebounds in 19 minutes.

Next up the Cowboys travel to New Mexico on Wednesday while TCU hosts San Diego State on Tuesday.

Cowboy Joe: Desmar Jackson does it again with 22 points. He's scored in double digits his last six games in a row and is averaging 10 points a game for the season.

Cowboy Low: Jaydee Luster managed only 1 assist in 34 minutes.

Cowboy Foe: Nikola Cerina stepped for TCU and scored a career high 21 points.
